My Honeymoon

Posted on Friday, October 28th, 2011 at 8:01 am

I would go to the Seychelle islands for my honeymoon.  It looks so beautiful there, and the water is so clear for snorkling.  It could also be good for looking for fish, sailing, etc.  The culture and food would also be very nice to see and exerience.  I have read that the weather is hot and tropical, which would be awesome to enjoy.  The wildlife would also play an important role.  It seems like a perfect getaway, especially since it includes the ocean.  It might even be better then Hawaii.  The only concern would be the shark attacks, but that shouldn’t be a problem if you watched out for them.

Being in the top 10

Posted on Tuesday, October 25th, 2011 at 7:00 am

What I consider my greatest achievement is probably being in the top 10 students for graduation.  It’s hard to be at the top of class for a lot of kids, and being able to be ahead of class is something I’m very proud of.  I think it’s important to try your best at school, as I did.  It is also a good chance to be offered scholorships, etc.  It also helps for future jobs.  I’m very proud of being in the top 10, and probably will be for awhile.

Essential House hold item

Carbon Monoxide is a colorless, odorless and toxic gas and produced by incomplete combustion through household appliances. When the boiler is not working properly then this gas is formed instead of carbon dioxide. Few exposure of carbon monoxide can create flu-like symptom, head ache, vertigo etc but the huge amount exposure of this gas can be dangerous for central nervous system or can be lead for death. Though this gas is not identified by sense organ that’s why people don’t have any idea about the harmfulness of this gas. So it is better to fix a carbon monoxide alarm in every body’s home for good health as essential home appliances.

Living Underwater

Fishing nets along the quay in Nieuwpoort, Bel...

If I had to live underwater for 2 years, I would probably be a triggerfish of some sort.  They are rarely caught for pet use, they aren’t eaten, and I don’t think that sharks really mess with them.  I wouldn’t want to be a dolphin because of the Japanese and fishing nets, not a turtle because of illegal hunting and fishing nets, and not a shark because people kill them just because it’s their nature to be carnivores.  Triggerfish can just live in harmony, not being killed or eaten.

My Idea of Life After Death

Posted on Monday, October 17th, 2011 at 5:24 am

My idea of heaven is something like normal life, just that you’re dead.  Mainly because people make a big deal of it, and maybe once we die we don’t realise that we died and if there is a heaven, are there.  I don’t think it would be in the sky, but maybe in a different universe.  In my idea head there would be no gate, or puffy clouds.  But it would be just like normal life, or maybe it’s just like we’re sleeping.  And if reincarnation is real, then we sleep for year until we are reborn.

You Try Too Hard!

Posted on Friday, October 14th, 2011 at 4:15 am

I am the type of person that has never really had a “best friend.” Many of the people I would become friends with as a child would quickly move away due to their parents’ job or other reason. I always found myself much more comfortable with people of the opposite sex, even when just as friends. As one gets older and becomes serious about a life-partner, those types of relationships are not as easy to maintain. As an adult, the relationships I have been able to build have become very important to me. My most recent acquisition of a friend is another woman in seemingly the same predicament. However, if I were to have the freedom to tell her one thing, I would tell her that she is trying to hard. She does not realize the kind, gentle person that she is and how many would “die” to have a friend like her. I think she would agree with the comment. She, in my opinion, realizes she tries this hard as building and maintaining strong relationships has been difficult for her as well.

Strength Beyond my Peers

Posted on Tuesday, October 11th, 2011 at 3:15 am

It would be easy and almost accurate to say that I have never caved into peer pressure. My parents raised me as a very strong woman with a strong sense of individuality. So, I have to think long and hard about an instance in which I succumbed to peer pressure. I didn’t drink or smoke or sleep around as a teenager. Nor, did I do those things as an adult. However, after many years involved in my significant other’s life, I did begin to have the occasional drink. It was during many get togethers that others would make comments about my not drinking, etc., that I decided to give it a shot to avoid the comments. Looking back, I would much rather have never taken that drink. I would by no means consider myself an over-indulgent drinker, but would rather have never begun the practice.

Pizza, pizza, and more pizza!

Lasanga. Tasty.

I have joked rather often that my love for pizza could allow me to eat it as my only source of nutrition for the rest of my life. While this could be true due to the many varieties of pizza that can be created (breakfast pizza, ‘regular pizza’, dessert pizza, etc.), I would likely also add lasagna and French toast. These three items are by far my favorite food choices and can each be altered in their preparation and presentation to allow for quite the variety of choices while maintaining on the three designated food items. Lasagna can include meat, a variety of cheese, and a variety of vegetables, or simply noodles and sauce. French toast could include powdered sugar, cinnamon, syrups and a variety of other additions to make a truly delectable choice.

A Thing of Beauty

Posted on Monday, October 3rd, 2011 at 1:07 am

The most beautiful thing I have ever experience is actually two things – the birth of my children. Of course, as newborns they were not necessarily visually beautiful; however, the pure beauty of a new life entering the world is more beautiful than any natural wonder or otherwise beautiful thing that the earth could provide. My daughter, born by c-section due to her stubbornly placing her head in my hip and not dropping, was and is an amazingly beautiful young lady. Watching her grow each day is a journey I would not trade. My son, born by c-section due to choice, was and still is a fair-headed young man with beautiful large brown eyes. Watching him take each step into each day is a beauty only comparable to that of his sister.
