Last week I had a yard sale

Posted on Friday, July 30th, 2010 at 4:46 am

I recently moved from a large house to a much smaller one and once I got moved in I realized rather quickly that I had a lot of stuff and very little room. So I decided to have a yard sale to get rid of some of the items that I no longer had room for. It was an interesting week to say the least. I managed to sell nearly all of the items that I needed to get rid of and ended up making a decent amount of money in the process.

Hermes handbag

Posted on Tuesday, July 27th, 2010 at 1:45 am

The most expensive thing other than my home or vehicle that I’ve ever purchased for myself was an Hermes handbag. These handbags are ridiculously expensive. I would have never considered buying on because I’m normally so thrifty. But while my husband and I were on vacation we decided to stop in the Hermes store. I just wanted to browse and daydream a bit. But once I saw the pink Hermes Birken bag I knew I had to have it. Pink is my favorite color and when I felt that handbag in my hands and felt the quality of it I decided to buy it.

Fire Safety Tips

Posted on Sunday, July 25th, 2010 at 6:31 am

Does your family know what to do in case of a fire? Every family member should know. Role playing is a good idea to ensure that children remember what to do in case there ever is a fire. This can give them ideas about what to do if the only way out was engulfed in fire. If the house is covered in smoke this could help them to know about crawling on the floor to keep from inhaling the smoke. Another tip is to have all necessary equipment in case there ever is an emergency. Two important things to have are a first aid box and an automatic fire extinguisher. When small fires start it can be put out quickly with the automatic fire extinguisher, but if you have to call the fire department it might spread quickly and become much more than a small fire. Fires can become very large in a short period of time, so every family should definitely have a large automatic fire extinguisher. Following these tips could help save your families lives or save your house. Make safety a number one priority in your house today! Isn’t it worth it?

Lincoln Navigator

Posted on Friday, July 23rd, 2010 at 1:45 am

If I could have any car that I wanted I would choose a Lincoln Navigator. I love the look of this SUV more than any other on the market. I also love the fact that it is a Lincoln. No other car in my opinion can compare to this one. It has wonderful safety features and is just perfect for my driving needs. I live in the Midwest and to survive the winters here you almost have to have an SUV of some kind or another to get around when we have our snowstorms. If not you’ll be stuck in your house for a while. The Lincoln Navigator is a beautiful vehicle inside and out and is a quality vehicle as well.

My favorite class in school was American History. I loved learning about all of the fascinating facts that have taken place in our country. I never particularly liked school but I always managed to receive the highest possible grades in American History. I just couldn’t get enough information about it. I always read chapters ahead of the class because I was so interested in learning what happened next. I loved learning about the history of my country and how and why things happened as they did. I never wanted to miss school just because I didn’t want to miss History class. One time I was ill and needed to go to my doctor. I had my mother make my appointment for after American History so I could go to school until that class was over.

Houscat

Posted on Thursday, July 15th, 2010 at 8:43 pm

My favorite animal has to be the housecat. I work for a cat rescue and have always been a cat owner. But since I’ve worked with these wonderful creatures everyday I’ve come to admire them even more. They are the most intelligent animals that people can have as pets. They learn everything so quickly and adjust to new situations so well. They are adventurous and full of energy. They are always so curious and try to figure things out. I find them simply amazing. Since I’ve been working for the rescue I have gone from a single cat home to a home with seven cats and I’m also caring for a feral cat and her kittens whom I’m in the process of re-homing.

mysavings.com

My favorite website is mysavings.com because I love to save money any way that I can. This site has a forum were members can share the best buys for the week on certain products that they’ve found. You also have the opportunity to sign up to receive free samples of products. Sometimes the samples that you receive are actually full-sized products. I’ve received hundreds of dollars in free merchandise in the six months that I’ve been a member. You can also sign up for free coupons for products. These coupons are always either high value coupons or coupons for free items. There is also a section on the website for rebate offers. Many times you can buy a product and get a rebate for the full purchase price.

My Name

Posted on Wednesday, July 7th, 2010 at 5:41 pm

I know it’s no possible especially in my place to change my name. You sound it as a joke right? But I really wish to do this. The only questioned which never answered my parents is that why they give this name. I can give few hints about my name but cannot disclose it here. It starts with ‘S’ and ends with ‘I’.  I have seen many people in film industry and few writers have changed their name is that just to get publicity or do they really want to change it? Anyway If I really get a chance I don’t have to think even for a second to change this name to something else. I still didn’t get a new name its may be because I already realized that there is no second chance for this.

A small device can avert major accidents!!

Posted on Wednesday, July 7th, 2010 at 8:27 am

A foam fire extinguisher is a small protective red colored device that is installed in the buildings, hospitals, cinema halls, malls, hotels, offices, etc. to control small fires. Though it is generally intended to be used in emergency situations, it may also be used to hit someone as shown in movies. It works on a simple principle that there are four things that need to be present where ever there is fire- oxygen, heat, a fuel and a chemical reaction. If any of these things are removed, the fire can be extinguished. There are generally two types of foam fire extinguishers being developed- water and foam based that eliminates the heat or oxygen, necessary for the chemical reaction thereby ceasing the fire and ensuring the complete safety of the place of installation. For better results, there should be an annual maintenance for the mountable foam fire extinguisher installed and an expertise should be allowed to handle and use it.
